Maybe. Holden is quite the fruit. He says some things that lead me to believe that he may be gay. He never in the book clarifies that he is strait and plus he won't have sex with a girl.
Holden is under question, when it comes to being attractive to Stradlater because of his actions. Even though he refuses to have sexual intercourse with a girl he has never come out and said he was a homosexual.
